Bringebær er valgt ut til å være på den internasjonale DVD utgivelsen “Official Best of Fest Award Winners”. Dette er en stor intternasjonal distribusjon og Bringebær er den eneste Norske kortfilmen med i samlingen./Users/user/Desktop/header.jpg
The cinematographer of the film, Aasulv Austad recieved the prize on behalf of the director at the awards ceremony on Saturday, November 21st, 2009, at 7:00pm, at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
Morgan Davidsen, fikk i går kveld American Scandinavian Cultural Grant for 2009. Prisen blir hvert år delt ut til en ung, talentfull kunstner med tilknytning til USA, New York og ett av de Scandinaviske landene. Morgan er utdannet i Minneapolis USA. Han jobber for tiden med Vikingfilmmanuset “Den som Griper til Sverd” med Tor Åge Bringsværd. Morgans kortfilm Raspberries spilles over hele verden. Morgans nye kortfilm `Pickles and Tomatoes`blir laget i Oslo og New York i 2009.
Raspberries was nominated best international shortfilm during the big Mecal Barcelona Film Festival 2009. We were proud to have our Spanish premiere during this prestigeous festival. The Fin Film director was present during the Festival.
Bringebær is a featured short at the Ulvik Poesi Festival in Ulvik, Norway and the ZEBRA poetry film festival in Berlin. We are proud to be part of both events and will be attending with our director. This is a very interesting genre for film and a new audience for this shortfilm.
Raspberries was oficially nominated for best short film and was playing as a feature shortfilm during this years Palm Springs International Shortfest. It is a pleasure to screen our film at this great short film festival. Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films is America’s biggest and best festival of short films.
The films cinematographer Aasulv Austad was attending the festival to represent “Bringebær”.

The ASF concludes its Nordic Shorts series with New Short Films from Norway. The lineup included Coco-Nuts by Charlotte Blum, Days of Love by Eric R. Magnusson, Flatmates by Magnus Mork, Interlude by Katja Eyde Jacobsen, Null-Null by Gaute Johnsen, Raspberries by Morgan Davidsen, Shall We Dance? by Martin Lund, and Spandex Man by Bobbie Peers. Scandinavia House’s Nordic Shorts series is a wide-ranging survey spanning many styles and genres that introduces some of the finest new shorts by the next generation of Nordic filmmakers.
Bringebær er nominert til Beste Nordiske Independent Kortfilm under Aarhus Internasjonale Film Festival 12-17 Mars 2008. Selvom filmen har deltatt på festivaler i fire verdensdeler, og mottatt flere priser vil Aarhus være den første Scandinaviske festivalen til å vise “Bringebær” i sitt offisielle program. Dette er noe regissør Morgan Davidsen (med Danske røtter) setter stor pris på.
“Raspberries” recieved a special jury price at the Bahamas International Filmfestival 2007. It was a terrific experience to be part of such a professional event. To meet other talented and visionary filmmakers. The welcoming people of the Bahamas and the amazing scenery made this an unforgettable memory. To recieve an honorary mention with Sean Connery in the theatre is not an everyday event for a small Norwegian fimmaker. The short films jury consisted of Magali Dubié, chargée de mission of Short Film Corner, Cannes Film Festival and Charlie Walters, International casting director of DreamWorks.
Den engelske versjonen av Bringebær skal i Januar være del av Short Film Festival of India.
Filmen vil bli vist på festivalen i Chennai and Guwahati og vil være del av det offisielle konkurranse programmet.
Dette er første av flere Asiatiske visninger. Det blir spennende å se hvordan et Indisk filmelskende publikum mottar en film som denne.
